ZEVYP a.s. is engaged in comprehensive provision of earthworks focused on the construction of transport infrastructure, telecommunications, social infrastructure and environmental engineering. ZEVYP a.s. strives to maintain the high standards of the services it offers, and thus places great emphasis on modern technologies with a high degree of reliability, as well as regular upskilling of staff.

The company was founded in 1990 when part of the staff of the former Czechoslovak State Railways – Communication and Signalling Works, Pilsen, associated in the ZEVYP consortium. Out of this consortium, a year later, a company was founded with the same name, ZEVYP s.r.o.. The company took on staff for the necessary professions for earthworks and installation work, for the area of construction of cable networks and communication and signalling equipment.

Further development of the company took place in 1993, when ZEVYP s.r.o. bought the property needed to develop the business and invested heavily in technical and manufacturing equipment.

Consolidation and stabilisation of its market position was the reason for its 1998 transformation from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company, ZEVYP a.s. Since 1999, ZEVYP a.s. has therefore been active on the market as a joint-stock company engaged in the provision of complete earthworks, and low voltage, telecommunication and signalling installation, with a focus on transport and telecommunications construction.

In 2000, ZEVYP a.s. gained certification confirming the introduction of the ISO 9001 quality management system. In the same year, there were organisational changes, dividing operations into a centre for earthworks and a centre for communication and signalling installation.

The year 2002 was significant for the company with the introduction of the conditions for access to classified information pursuant to Act No. 148/1998 Coll. and stabilisation of the centre for communication and signalling installation for new customers, including the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, the Police of the Czech Republic and the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic. ZEVYP a.s. continued to expand its focus and branch out with a centre for construction, which built the monolithic reinforced concrete skeleton for Merck in Frankfurt as a subcontractor of Bilfinger Berger.

In 2004, ZEVYP a.s. obtained a certificate confirming the introduction of the ISO 14001 environmental management system. The company also underwent restructuring and updated its machinery and technical equipment at the earthworks centre, focusing on supplying work linked to developing transport infrastructure.

In 2005, ZEVYP a.s. obtained a certificate confirming the introduction of the OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management system.
In 2009, ZEVYP a.s. obtained the SA 8000:2008 certification for social accountability.

Currently, ZEVYP a.s. is focused primarily on complete earthworks linked to the construction of transport infrastructure, social facilities, environmental engineering, and more.
