The ZEVYP Code of Ethics is a company standard for clear and consistent moral values and objectives, which apply both inside and outside the company.

Reliability, professionalism and high quality work have become a natural basis of collaboration for our customers. It is absolutely necessary, however, for every member of staff to be a professional representative of the company and to promote its reputation in this increasingly complex competitive environment.

It is therefore essential for company management and staff to attach the utmost importance to compliance with legal obligations and internal regulations and to respect the core values contained within them.

In performing their duties, staff will always place their clients’ interests before their own, and refrain from behaviour that might undermine their credibility and respectability.

Staff will provide services on a professional level. For this they will use all the available expertise and experience.

Good approach to business partners and customers is the foundation of our company’s work.

The company’s relationships with staff are founded on respect and dignity for everyone.

The company will employ and promote staff based on them being qualified for the given job, without any discrimination.

The company will keep all information about each client confidential, especially that of a personal, economic or commercial nature. It will ensure that information cannot be used by staff for their own business or the activities of third parties without the customer’s consent.

Staff will protect company know-how and respect the principle of protection of trade secrets.

The company’s staff will inform their customers about all circumstances or relationships that could affect the quality and objectivity of the services provided.

It is entirely inadmissible for staff to accept any gifts or benefits (whether commercial commission or discounts) from third parties in relation to work on specific orders or recommending the services of other companies for this reason.

Staff may not pursue the same activity as their work for ZEVYP a.s. in private. Similar activities can be considered a serious breach of their work discipline, for which staff will be fully liable, including any consequences.

Staff will not mislead any of the interested parties with their information, nor will they use or provide purposely unverified or false information.

Staff will act fairly and properly at all times, and only act within their powers.

The company must fulfil all its obligations in a timely manner.

If staff are unable to resolve a situation on the spot, they should politely ask the client to be patient and inform their supervisor immediately.

In the event of imminent danger of damage, all staff are obliged to try and avert this damage according to their capabilities and abilities. In other situations, they must notify their superior or someone else who is able to reduce or completely avert this damage of this fact.

Staff are obliged to use the corresponding protective and safety equipment for given tasks. This equipment, including footwear, must be in perfect condition.

Staff will comply with the safety requirements for work, the stipulated work procedures and materials, use the stipulated protective equipment and only work with tools and equipment for which they are qualified.

ZEVYP a.s. staff are obliged to take precautions in their work that protect the environment. This means, primarily:

•    complying with requirements for waste disposal,
•    complying with stipulated work procedures that save materials and energy,
•    keeping the workplace and places for storing materials in order.

The management of ZEVYP a.s. or those people authorised by them are responsible for monitoring compliance with all the above principles.

The rules given above are binding for all staff of ZEVYP a.s. from the moment they become or ought to become acquainted with them.
