ZEVYP has been active on the Czech market since 1990, when the ZEVYP Consortium was founded through the assignment of part of the staff from the former Czechoslovak State Railways – Communication and Signalling Works, Pilsen. In 1991, ZEVYP s.r.o. was formed from the consortium, and within a year it began to employ staff who had been working in the field of earthworks and installation work. This staff was then used for the construction of cable networks and communication and signalling equipment.

Over the next seven years, the company underwent very dynamic development. In 1998, due to the consolidation and stabilisation of its market position, it transformed into a joint-stock company.

Currently, ZEVYP a.s. provides complete earthworks linked to the construction of transport infrastructure, social facilities, environmental engineering, and more. The company strives to maintain its high standards of service and thus also places great emphasis on modern technologies with a high degree of reliability, as well as regular upskilling of staff.
